Become a member
Being a member means being part of a community of francophones who want to work together to realise the mission, the vision, and the mandate of FrancoQueer. It means contributing to the pioneering efforts of the first and only organization serving the cause of the LGBTQIA francophone community in Ontario. Being a member also means showing our partners, sponsors, funding bodies and supporters that our organisation operates with the strong support of our community.
So, if the French language and francophone cultures interest you and you wish to participate, or if you want to make connections within the LGBTQIA francophone community in Toronto and across Ontario, thus helping us in our development, join FrancoQueer.
By joining, you will gain the opportunity to be an active part of, and support, the important projects undertaken by FrancoQueer. Your membership also allows you to help make decisions about the development of the organisation according to your interests and your willingness. As a volunteer, you can take part in the Annual General Meeting, work groups and committees, thus advising the administration.
Your membership and your engagement will make a difference. As with all non-profit community associations, the success of FrancoQueer depends on the involvement of our members and volunteers.
Memberships are valid from January 1st through December 31st of each year. If you are already a member, you can renew your membership on a yearly basis.
The annual dues are $10 and are to be paid by the AGM at the latest, by cheque or cash. Accommodations can be made based on financial need.
