About

FrancoQueer is the association for gay, lesbian, bisexual, two-spirit, transsexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, asexual and allied (LGBTQIA) francophones in Toronto and Ontario. Founded in 2006 and subsequently registered as a non-profit organization in Ontario, FrancoQueer is the only association by and for LGBTQIA francophones in the province.

Mission

The mission of FrancoQueer is to bring together and represent LGBTQIA francophones and their allies, and to offer them specifically-tailored activities, services and programs, as well as opportunities to celebrate their diversity in a francophone atmosphere.

FrancoQueer seeks to develop an organizational and social framework which demonstrates, by its politics, programs and activities, a new understanding around the challenges of social exclusion, marginalisation and the intersection of identities which are sexuality, language and diversity.
